The
Super Junior (Radio) Claymate is a wireless version
of the Super
Junior Claymate.
Shown
above without the protective and distinctive orange
rubber boot, the grey box next door is the wireless
receiver which is typically supplied wired for one trap.
HOWEVER, if you want to use two traps and they can be
connected by a 2 core cable (wire LESS does not necessarily
mean wire FREE) we can provide a suitable break out
box and connector allowing the A side trap to power
the receiver and the B side trap to be fired from the
single receiver.
If
you want 2 separate receivers, we can do that too.
The
third trap option works like this..
When ANY button is pressed, be it A, B or Pair, the
third receiver relay energises firing the third trap
if it is connected. This means you can optionally have
A & C from the A button. B & C from the B button
and A, B & C from the Pair button. It's there if
you want it. The third trap can be driven from either
the A or B trap receiver or, if money is no object,
a separate C trap receiver.
In
the non delay mode, you can send a single, a following
pair (on report) or a true pair just by pressing the
buttons as you wish.
Pressing
the A and B buttons together toggles the Solo Delay
on and off allowing you to send a delayed single, a
delayed true pair or, if you select your PULL bird as
if it were a single and then, whilst the delay timer
is running, select your REPORT target, be that from
one or the other trap, you will get a delayed following
pair. The following delay is fixed at 2.5 seconds in
the current software version.
The
PULL target is the very first button you press and the
REPORT target is the last. You can select and re-select
the REPORT target as you please. The last button you
press will be the report bird.
As
an added SAFETY feature, if at any time during a delay
countdown you press the PAIR button, you will cancel
the launch altogether.
The
Super Junior (Radio) Claymate is good enough for English
Skeet too. The release delay from button to target is
around a fifth of a second and is a function of the
FM encoding/decoding technique. Some dyed in the wool
Skeet Shooters consider hitting a target that is not
where they expect it to be anyone else's fault but their
own. If you miss the target, YOU missed it buddy!
The
Radio works fine with just one trap, so when you buy
your second trap, you don't have to throw anything away!
Simply wire the second trap to the same receiver or
buy another receiver.
If
YOU are running three traps using the
Super Junior (Radio) Claymate, tell
us about it. |
