Some of our original models are no longer available, but are still supported.
Discontinued Models become so due to either the lack of parts; be they a handset enclosure, as below, or due to a semiconductor manufacturer pulling a chip required by Claymate to work.

In the case of the old "DTL" Claymate for instance, that function can be realised using any of the available Skeet models. The latest Skeet-Trap Claymate obsoletes even our own switch boxes which do not even appear on the site. A real case of 'less is more'.

We do not discontinue models out of devilry or to upset our customers.
Sometimes a better way comes along and sometimes parts become unavailable, so we adapt.

 
 
Through product design improvements the DTMF System, which was well ahead of its time, has had a handset facelift.

The available space on the new fascia limits the new handset to 8 traps.

The original handset catered for 10 traps. (6 trap model shown here)

There are very few 10 trap Multitrap layouts in existence so we feel that the 8 trap limit is a small price to pay for the superior mechanical properties of the new enclosure.

The handset is NOT electronically compatible with Evolution Controllers.
Nothing will smoke, but it won't work either.
