This
nifty little podule solves all problems associated with traps that
have overly sensive release circuits; those with very high release
currents or those with 110 volts AC on the release wires...
Some
traps cannot supply the flea power a typical Claymate requires either
for power (800uA) or for trap detection (200uA) and these can fire
continually with Claymate.
These
traps also tend to suffer similar problems from wet connectors,
although the trap setup is usually given an unnecessary handful
of adjustment from ignorance before the wet connector is isolated
(and the trap still fires continually from over adjustment).
This
widget has a release current of around 20mA which is a good compromise
between insensitivity to the wet and the ability to run much longer
or thinner release cables than the trap manufacturer might suggest. |
